Leuke en sportieve Ford Fiesta XR2i! Tegenwoordig is de Fiesta Mk3 al een zeldzame verschijning, en een de XR2i al helemaal! Dit is ook nog een originele Nederlandse auto, wat nog zeldzamer is!

In juli 1990 op kenteken gezet, wat hem al 34 jaar oud maakt. Als opties zijn er een zonnedak, ABS en een trekhaak besteld destijds. 

De carrosserie heeft wel een paar plekjes, wat gezien de leeftijd natuurlijk niet gek is. Het lakwerk is nog best netjes, en geen roest bij de tankdop!. 

Het interieur ziet er ook nog net en fris uit met minimale gebruikssporen. Op de teller (5 cijferig) staat 16.000km, gezien de staat van de auto  zal die wel 1x de klok zijn rond geweest, maar of hij 2x de klok is rond geweest dat valt te betwisten. De auto is 31 jaar van dezelfde eigenaar geweest, en die was er best zuinig op. 

Technisch rijdt en schakelt de auto prima. Recent nog groot onderhoud gehad waarbij vele dingen nog vernieuwd zijn (oa. schokdempers, distributie, accu, vloeistoffen). 

Met zijn bescheiden gewicht van 893kg en de 108pk sterke motor is het een sportief rijdende auto, die ook nog eens niet te duur is in de maandelijkse kosten.

De auto heeft nog apk tot mei 2025. 

Een van de weinige die de ‘tuningscene’ van de jaren 90 heeft overleefd. Geen sportuitlaat, grote speakers, aangepaste ophanging enz. Enige wat niet origineel is, dat is de radio. Maar zelfs de originele Ford luidsprekers zitten er nog in. 

Verwacht geen nieuwe, maar wel een auto waarbij je kunt instappen en rijden.

Nice and sporty Ford Fiesta XR2i! Nowadays the Fiesta Mk3 is already a rare appearance, and the XR2i even more so! This is also an original Dutch car, which is even rarer!

Registered in July 1990, which makes it 34 years old. As options, a sunroof, ABS and a tow bar were ordered at the time.

The bodywork does have a few spots, which is of course not surprising considering its age. The paintwork is still quite neat and no rust at the fuel filler cap!

The interior also still looks neat and fresh with minimal traces of use. The odometer (5 digits) shows 16,000 km, given the condition of the car it will have been around the clock once, but whether it has been around the clock twice is debatable. The car has had the same owner for 31 years, and he was quite careful with it.

Technically the car drives and shifts fine. Recently had major maintenance, many things were renewed (including shock absorbers, distribution, battery, fluids).

With its weight of only 893 kg and combined with the 108 hp engine, it is a sporty driving car, which is also not too expensive in monthly costs.

The car still has MOT until May 2025.

One of the few that survived the 'tuning scene' of the 90s. No sports exhaust, large speakers, modified suspension, etc. The only thing that is not original is the radio. But even the original Ford speakers are still in it.

Don't expect a new one, but a car that you can get in and drive.
