Iconische Ford Sierra MK1 in de zeldzame 2.0iS (sport) uitvoering. Voorzien van een 115pk sterke 2.0 injectie pinto motor (type 205) gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde 5 bak.

In 1986 nieuw verkocht in Duitsland, de eerste eigenaar heeft hem gehad tot 1996, toen ingeruild bij dezelfde Ford dealer voor een nieuwe Mondeo. De eigenaar van de Ford dealer vond het zo'n bijzondere verschijning, dat hij de auto zelf gehouden heeft. Zijn dochter heeft de auto nog even kort gebruikt, daarna heeft hij nog een tijdje in de showroom gestaan. Toen de garage in 2006 is overgenomen heeft de eigenaar de auto gestald tot nu.

Carrosserie is heel goed voor zijn leeftijd, evenals het lakwerk. De carrosserie heeft een paar minimale plekjes maar niks ernstigs. De wielrand rechtsachter hebben ze ooit wat bijgewerkt, links heeft een klein beginnen plekje. Het krikpunt linksvoor heeft ook wat aandacht nodig.

De auto heeft 83.000km gelopen (historie aanwezig). De motor loopt zeer netjes zonder bij geluiden, en de versnellingsbak schakeld ook heel soepel.

Hij is net voorzien van nieuwe bougies, bougiekabels, verdeler, nieuwe accu enz. Auto rijdt goed, maar voor hij echt gebruikt gaat worden is een grote service beurt met nieuwe vloeistoffen aan te raden. 

Het interieur is ook nog erg netjes, en volledig origineel. Het dashboard heeft wat scheuren door de zon (bekend kwaaltje). De auto is voorzien van een aantal fabrieks opties: schuif-kanteldak (lekt niet), brons getint glas, trekhaak, stereo radio cassette speler met 4 speakers en een Hella grill met dubbele koplampen. De map met alle boekjes is ook erbij, evenals de beide originele sleutels. 

De Cosworth en de Xr4i kennen we allemaal, maar de iS uitvoering is behoorlijk zeldzaam! Prijs gebaseerd op zo meenemen! Rijklaar is ook mogelijk, vraag naar de mogelijkheden.

New sold in Germany in 1986, The first owner had it till 1996, when he traded it in for a new Ford Mondeo at the same Ford. The owner of the Ford dealership really liked the rather special Sierra and kept it himself. His daughter used the car for a short time, and after that it stood in the showroom as display. When the garage was sold in 2006 to another owner the car was parked in a storage till now.

The body is good for his age, as well is the paintwork. The body has some little marks, but nothing major. The rear wheel arch at the right side has been worked on, and at the left side is has a little bubble (hard to notice). The jacking point at the front left side needs attention.

The car has done 83.000km (with history). The engine runs very sweet, without any rattles. The gearbox also shifts very smooth. We just fitted new plugs, leads, dizzy, battery etc. Car drives good, but before it would be really used we advise to give it a big service first. 

The interior is nice and original. 

The dashboard unfortunately has the common cracks from the sun. The car has a few factory fitted options; sunroof (doesn’t leak), bronze tinted windows, tow bar, stereo radio cassette player with 4 speakers, and a Hella grill with twin headlights. The map with all the books and manuals as well the both original keys are with the car. 

We all know the Cosworth and the XR4i, but this iS edition is very rare!

Priced as it is, at extra cost we can make it roadworthy again.
